In honor of the Fourth of July, Tange and Flora both received a watermelon fruit bowl, a "250" carved out of sweet potatoes, banana leaves, and pears grown straight from trees on The Sanctuary's property.
Caregivers froze pears, watermelon, and strawberries to create a rocket pop for both elephants, noting the natural fruit juices smelled so good that even they wanted to take a bite. Wishing everyone a fun and relaxing holiday!
