You're Invited! Join us for a special First Day of Issue Dedication Ceremony this World Elephant Day.

The Elephant Sanctuary is excited to announce that the United States Postal Service’s First Day of Issue Dedication Ceremony for the new Forever Stamp titled Elephants will take place at The Elephant Discovery Center in Hohenwald, Tennessee, on World Elephant Day, August 12. All are welcome!

In honor and celebration of elephants, USPS will release the Elephants Forever Stamp designed by Rafael López, featuring a digitally illustrative elephant interacting with its young calf, depicting the affectionate nature of these beloved animals.

When: Friday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. CDT

The elephants' habitats are closed to the public. Visitors to The Discovery Center and First Day of Issue Dedication Ceremony attendees will not see or interact with elephants.
