Tina and Joanna
July 21st marks the anniversay of the passing of two of our Sanctuary family members. Tina was the 8th elephant to find Sanctuary when she came to us from Vancouver. She passed in 2004.
Caregiver Joanna Burke passed away on this day in 2006. Joanna's life, and passion for the elephants that she dearly loved, will always be an inspiration to The Sanctuary community.
