Shirley’s First 15 Years at Sanctuary
July 6th marks 15 years since Shirley arrived at Sanctuary.
Her 15th summer here is passing much like the preceding 14: she spends the long days out in the habitat, grazing, dusting, and showering – sometimes with Tarra or Misty, sometimes alone.
At 66, Shirley shows no signs of slowing down or “acting her age.” Her anniversary will be spent in true Sanctuary fashion: doing whatever she wants.
