PHOTOS – Credit to The Elephant Sanctuary
Feb. 10, 2025, Hohenwald, TN - The Elephant Discovery Center will once again host a variety of educational and entertaining events that are free and open to all ages, on the 'Third Saturday' of each month, from February through December 2025. Events will include storytelling, enrichment and craft-making, as well as the opportunity to meet one of The Sanctuary’s dedicated elephant Vet and Care Staff to gain insight into the daily care routines and behind-the-scenes operations at The Elephant Sanctuary.
Join us on February 15th at 11 a.m. at The Discovery Center in downtown Hohenwald and help create enrichment for the elephants!
Enrichment can include food or other items that stimulate the elephants' minds and encourage natural behaviors. By participating in this event, you’ll help provide engaging activities, including tasty treats, that promote their physical and mental well-being.
This event is free and perfect for the whole family—folks of all ages can take part in creating enriching items for the elephants. Please dress appropriately for paint and marker usage, and bring your creativity!

The elephant habitats are closed to the public. There will be no viewing or interaction with the elephants at the Discovery Center.
