Join Us for a Special Third Saturday Event at the Elephant Discovery Center!
This month, we're excited to invite you to another engaging Third Saturday Event at the Elephant Discovery Center on March 15th at 11:00 AM. This event offers a unique opportunity to meet one of our dedicated Elephant Vet Techs and learn about the critical role they play in the health and care of our elephant residents.
Veterinary technicians are essential to the daily operations of veterinary practices. They help ensure the health and welfare of animals, and at The Elephant Sanctuary, they are integral to the care of our elephants. From foot and dental care to weight monitoring, routine testing, radiographs, and even laser therapy, our Vet Techs do it all to provide the highest standard of elephant care.
Join us at the Discovery Center in downtown Hohenwald, to ask all your elephant-related questions and get an inside look at the fascinating work that keeps our elephants healthy and active!

The elephant habitats are closed to the public during this event. There will be no interaction or viewing of the elephants.
About The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee
Located on 3,060 acres in Hohenwald, Tennessee, The Elephant Sanctuary is the nation’s largest natural-habitat refuge developed specifically for Asian and African elephants.
