Elephants are a keystone species and are vital in keeping their environment thriving. Like elephants, humans are a keystone species and have an enormous impact on the ecosystem, carrying a great responsibility to keep the planet healthy for all. Follow the elephants’ lead and help make our impact on the environment a positive one. There is no better way to contribute to a cleaner and healthier planet than by collaborating with members of your community to tackle waste and remove litter from our lands and waterways. All are welcome!

Can’t make it to Hohenwald? We encourage you to take action wherever you live. Start or engage in a community cleanup in your area and help us protect this beautiful planet we share with elephants.

This event is made possible through the support of Lewis County Government, Lewis County TDOT Litter Grant Program, the Hohenwald/Lewis County Chamber of Commerce, and our many community supporters.

The Sanctuary is also excited to be a part of this year's Nashville Earth Day event, presented by Centennial Park Conservancy, on April 20th at Centennial Park in Nashville, Tennessee. Come say hello! To learn more: www.nashvilleearthday.org
