Last spring, we launched a project to connect with classrooms across all 50 states through our free virtual learning programs over an 8-week span. Thanks to your enthusiasm and support, we successfully booked all available time slots and reached teachers in 34 states! However, we still have 16 states to go, so we’re excited to announce that we are extending our campaign to celebrate elephants in every state by the end of 2024!
Note, even if your state is already highlighted on the map above, we would still love to connect with your community during this celebration!
This year, we want to engage the largest and most diverse audience possible.
To achieve this goal, we need your help! We challenge you to share the mission of The Elephant Sanctuary with the teachers in your life — whether they’re teachers you know or your children’s teachers. By spreading the word, you’ll help us raise awareness about elephants, the challenges they face, and how our programs align with curriculum needs for students of all ages.
