Nashville sustainability nonprofit, Urban Green Lab, has officially recognized The Elephant Sanctuary as a "Lab of Learning" for our commitment to the practice of sustainable behaviors and decision-making that better protect our people, profit, and planet.
Since 2019, The Sanctuary's Green Team has been working with Urban Green Lab to establish sustainability goals for the organization — from transitioning to paper-free task lists to working with vendors to reduce single-use plastics in product shipments, and so much more.
The Sanctuary advocates for the planet that we share with the elephants entrusted to our care through decisions, processes, and purchasing and works to foster a culture of sustainability in the workplace.
